Move Over Models the Super Duper Models Return

It has been about 20 years since the fashion magazines touted the names, Naomi, Linda, Cristy and Claudia. They have returned to modelling after being away for two decades. The original supermodels of the 80’s and 90’s will overshadow many of today’s teenage models who cannot compare with these really, classy women. The youngsters are beginning to experience the graceful Supermodels of yesterday as they continue taking over key modelling jobs. Look for them in all of the current fashion magazines.

 

Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Cristy Turlington and Linda Evangelist are now appearing on the front page and within the pages of Vogue and other fashion magazines. Forty-three year old Linda, a beautiful woman,  is the new Prada model for their current advertising campaign. This mother of one took over the key spot replacing Sasha Pivovarova, a 23 year old who looked like a starving model although she held the spot for six seasons.

 

Claudia Schiffer now 38 is a real beauty and top ranking model for Chanel’s main collection. She is on the cover of Maria Claire. Linda Turlington 39 is the lovely woman seen in Chanel’s designer eyewear in fashion magazines. Ives Saint Laurant chose the beautiful Claudia Campbell now 38 as the model for their latest creations and you can find her on the front of the French, Italian and Brazilian Vogue magazine.

 

Among other mature and graceful models returning to the ranks are Liz Jones, Kate Moss, Stella McCartney and Didier Fernandez all possessing respect for and others.
